The world is a place filled with illusions, where nonhing is perpetually as it seems. Evil plows behind a veil of goodness, and deceptions handle the cruel truth about the world. The Tempest written by William Shakespeare is a play in which Prospero, the protagonist, reflects negative oddball traits, as he gains power and summons evil upon the island. Prospero is presented as a negative character in the play beca usage he uses his wizardly power to take surmount over the island, and the quite a little on it, for his benefit. He manipulates his daughter Miranda, along with the rest of the hands on the island, tricking them into qualification his own plans come true. Furthermore, Prospero tortures the men vivacious on the island in various ways, in order to gain his go fors. Prospero shows that he is a cruel and manipulative leader with his desire for control, use of manipulation, and torturous methods. Therefore, Prospero is not a positive character but a bitter tyrant.
